I know you have been working very hard for this moment. You have been juggling work, training and volunteering for quite some time now.I am sure your family is very proud, Just like everyone else who knows you is (me included) You have always been one of the few shooting athletes that we could point at and say to our SCTP kids "Look what what you could do if you train hard, don't let a lost target get you down and have Faith in the Lord. You are a role model and better yet , you deserve to be one also. Take Care and have a safe trip back to Tucson Rob |

I am very proud of you. I have watched you not only become a real champion but also a man. You are a true role model. There are lots of great shooters in our sport but there are no better people than you and your dad. You have really got your head screwed on right and I am proud to know you. Your friend and fan,

Okay Cindy I will give it a try on the shootoff. I will likely need some corrections, and those of you who remember better than I did, chime in.
The shootoff of course was in the stadium with two cages set about where Skeet stations two and six would be. There were four traps throwing, as I remember, 5 true pair from each station, but 6 pair are possible, it might have been 6 pair. The targets were not wimpy. Gebben went first on the cage where Skeet two would be. At the end of the first station, Gebben and Brandon were tied at 7. Brandon dropped, I think, the last pair to keep it even. At the next cage, Brandon went first. I do not remember his score, but when Gebben shot, he needed to break the last pair to win. He shot his last pair and Mo called a no target, pair over. The crowd was really, really on edge. Gebben then called for the pair and broke them both. Pandemonium almost ensued. The crowd was solidly behind Gebben so much that I almost felt sorry for Brandon but not quite. Gebben inspires that kind of following for the reasons mentioned earlier in this thread. I am really glad and feel priviledged to have seen it happen. Harry

Had lunch with El Grande Tuesday and yes he is still flying around....Target Line Shooting school had a great night! I know it's nowhere as big as Gebbens
win, but Grande also had a sweep in E-class by his newest addition to the Target Line team Shea Self!

Congratulations Gebben! I'm so happy for you and your family. All the hard work payed off; the work that not many are familiar with or can even
appreciate what it takes to accomplish what you have. Some just think "you were born on 3rd base and you think you've hit a triple", but
that's not all that gets you there.
The scores you posted on Orange, Red, and Yellow are simply astounding.....only dropping 3 total targets on the combined 3 courses. When I grow up, I want to be just like you
