We welcome everyone to come play. This is a new venue. It makes it possible for any who enter to have a chance at winning their money back, and more. It is different, but not complicated. Two fifty bird five stands will be set up. Shooters will be split by class. Master and AA, on one set, and A thru E on the other. All entrants will shoot a fifty bird qualifier. The top ten scores from each set, will compile the top twenty. The Top Twenty will compete for the Jackpot. * 20 places pay money!!!!!!!! * If we were to have 100 shooters, 20th place will receive all of their entry fees back*** This is not just for the best of the best shooters, all shooters stand a chance to be in the top twenty. The targets will be good and fun. All targets will be called out at the five stands. It will be enjoyable for all, and fun to watch!!! Don't forget their is also a 100 bird NSCA Sporting Clay. And, if you know us up here at Able's, there will probably be some other prizes flying around as well! Please come join us for this new event. On the five stand, all shooters are welcome. The Qualifier, will not be set hard. They will be fun enjoyable, clays to shoot at. All classes stand a chance to go to the finals. Remember, the way it is laid out, all of the 20 qualifiers will get a placement. This should be a lot of fun for all!!!!!!!! Please come join us Saturday! A fantastic sporting clay course to boot. And best of all, even though the turnout was not as large as the projection, Randy Wright still payed out the full $7500! Those that didnt make it this time can watch for this fun event again at Ables in the future. The store is just about finished (its huge) and should be open for business sometime in Feb. This initial shoot was excellently put together with great targets, competent referring, and phenomenal payout. Randy has ideas to make this a Premier Event and conceptually it is very doable. All it needs is support from the shooter community. Cleary, Randy doesnt do this for the money, rather the passion he has for a sport that everyone, from young to old can enjoy. I think the next event, (and I hope its not next year!) will be fully subscribed as those who participated will spread the word to those who did not come.. Well Done Randy and team!! The Main sporting was enjoyable. Personally I prefer more than 10 stations as 5 pair gets monotonous. The only negative is that the store was not finished But soon enough! Looking forward to my next trip to Ables.

Member Posts: 44 (01/08/12 10:59 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I thought it was very enjoyable, nothing was unhittable and I think everyone from Master-E class had a great time . Buck and Tanner both did a great job setting everything as it was smooth and fun. Randys concept here should take off and everyone should do everything they can to support it. If you want a shoot that gives back to the shooter, then this is a great one. Even though Randy did not get 100 shooters, he was still nice enough to pull the money out of his pocket to make the $7500 payouts. Very admirable thing to do, and I think those of us that were there are very appreciative. Great shooting by Brad and Joey, as well as everyone else that made the Super Final. I will definately be at the next one, and the next one. Also thanks to Bryan Bornes and all the Able staff, I saw all of them working hard to make this a great shoot! Adam Blair

The targets, trappers and range where all flawless which made the entire day a breeze for the shooters. The concept is one that will take off for sure. Knowing that you need to get into the top 10 makes a 50 bird race a real challenge. There was only a 3 bird gap between 1 and 10 which showed that the final 80 targets would be tight as well. The 80 targets final ran smoothly and was probably the quickest 80 targets I have shot in a shoot off on some challenging pairs and targets. All in All a great event ran by a great supported of the sport in many ways. Thank you Randy for a new concept that I look forward to seeing more often. I really liked the format and I look forward to being back to try it again in the future. I think this jackpot five stand thing could really take off. I would like to see more clubs do something like this. Anyone who's missed Able's shoots needs to come out and give it a try. The place is beautiful. Dave

We hope everyone enjoyed the new venue, and targets. Congratulations to Brad Kidd, for winning the first Able's Jackpot Five Stand. Thanks to Connie for running a smooth registration, and all who helped. Please come join us in March for the Second Annual Bearkat Open, tournament.
