LaPorte Repairs?

Anyone know of any outfit or person that services/repairs LaPorte machines in the northeast?
Can't seem to keep the birds DOWN (in flight) and shooters are getting discouraged.

Winchester V1577A Problems

Having an issue with our winchester trap machine. Every so often it will $$@# and not release either via the safe release or the manual release. The only way to get it going is to manually push the arm backwards to allow the arm to re-$$@#. Also, when the trap is released, it seems to shake much more than it should. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Autosporter out of business?

Is it true? I just heard from a fellow trapper that Autosporter is shutdown. Does anybody know what happened? Or who we can go to for parts, service or for advise? We have about 20 or so Autosporter traps and this really hurts? The last I heard from Harry at Autosporter was in February or so, I never got any indication from him that he was shutting down.

Carousel Resizer Help

Trying to make something to slide into the carousel to change from standard targets to midi or mini's. Since the targets are a metric regular size PVC pipe won't do the trick. Any suggestions? It's an Auto-Sporter machine, but it seems that anything that would slide in the carousel could be used on most machines. Trying to avoid $300 a set for each size from the manufacturer.

Recommendations for a machine

I am looking to buy a good 12 volt backyard machine. I would like to stay around or under $2000. Definitely needs to oscillate and would prefer wobble but not a must. I am a member of a nice club, but sometimes my friends and I prefer to shoot pasture trap. I have a P.O.S. Do All Aerial Assault and hate it. I want something dependable and larger.
