Browning Gold Sporting Conversion

I have an older Browning Gold Sporting Clays 12 ga. that I want to shoot heavy field loads with. If I change the gas piston to a regular Gold Hunter type, will this allow me to shoot the heavy loads with out damaging the gun ?
I tried shooting the heavy loads last season and almost destroyed the gun. Broken bolt handle, bolt stop, etc.

Cycle problem with Beretta AL 391 Tekny Gold

Having a problem with a 12ga. AL 391 not cycling properly. The gun has about 1000 rounds through it. It has been broken down and cleaned throughly several times but still jambs. Is this a common problem with these guns and what is the best way to cure it? Is a firm mount required to make it cycle properly?

By the way, have been using 1-1/8 oz factory loads.

Can you help identify these shooting glasses?

Benelli Sport II double firing

I had my Benelli Sport II trigger worked on by a gun smith about a year ago to take the slack out of it and lighten it a little. Now it has started to double fire periodically and sometimes it fires when I close the bolt. Any idea as to if this is a firing pin or bolt spring problem or something from the trigger job?

Station # 3 at Ables Open

A fast quatering away rabbit from right to left and a long 40 yd. + trap shot curling low left to right and lifting ,I got a one on that station, and the highest score I saw was a six ,,,,,, anyone with any pointers on that long trap shot ? ,seems like theres one of those at every shoot ,and I end up just throwing the barrel at it, I am a D shooter, used mod choke ,,any advice would be appreciated .....................

Hanging 8 inch steel plate on rifle range

Looking for ideas--- I want to hang a 8 inch steel plate at 300 yards to practice on. Will use up to .30 cal. nothing bigger. I have some 3/4 inch plate and a 2 ft. long peice of heavy angle iron---2x2, 1/2 inch thick that I could weld to the back of the plate. I'm not sure which is the most secure way, from a longivity standpoint, how to hang it. From a peice of heavy rebar or chain and hanging from 4x4 post or steel pipe, or ???? Looking for suggestions.

REMINGTON MODEL 32

We recently purchased a model 32 remington I am trying to find out more about this gun it is heavily engraved with gold inlays a setter with pheasant on right side and a pointer with quail on left side gun is totatly engraved.I contacted remington and they do not have any engraving patterns for the model 32 available even though there were 5 grades of this gun. any help would be appreciated.

My MX8 has no selector for upper or lower barrels. It does have a drop out trigger. Can you get a trigger that will allow barrel selection? Or am I stuck with this?

kawasaki mule idle

A little off topic but i have a problem with my mule.(3010) Does anyone have a fix to make a mule idle? you have to keep your foot on the gas all the time. It starts great and runs good. I have screwed throttle adjusment screw all they way in. any help would be appreciated. thanks randy

Anyone else on here used Mike Orlen for barrel work? He just worked on an O/U of mine and I felt did an outstanding job. "jug" choked the top barrel (too thin for screw-ins) and lengthened forcing cones.......142$ out the door. The choke job worked perfectly, took SK to at least IC maybe LTm. . Cones were mirror polished about 2-3". Took about 2 wks from here to Mass. and back

I am having a problem with the gun popping open when I shoot it. I am assuming it is probably a weak or broken tang lever spring/ spindle assembly. I had a similar problem last year when Briley changed the spring and had built up the lock lugs. They said the lugs were not worn out but they had built them anyway so I would not have to worry about them wearing out. Therefore, I am assuming it is just the spring/s this time. My question is, can I change the spring/s at home or do I need a...

391 gas system

Why is the recoil on my 391 so much more noticeable than on my 390, and other 391 guns I have shot? It is not just me, all others who have shot it notice the recoil being excessive for the 1 oz loads I shoot. And when duck hunting using 3" shells...WOW...no comparison whatsoever with my 390!!!
What do I need to look for, in the way of adustments, new springs, or wear?

Texan Reloader re-assembly

I have a Texan Reloader I received from my dad who lives in Florida. It had been sitting for a while in his garage and was rusty. I disassembled part of it and now can't get it back together. There is a curved spring inside the top part of the reloader and a pin that sticks up. I don't know if the pin goes through the coils in the spring or if the spring has to be compressed and the pin inserted at one end. Can anyone direct me to a assembly manual or otherwise answer my question?

1100 G3 Malfunction

Hi all, I am having a problem with my G3 extracting spent shells. Usually on the first shot, the spent hull will not completely eject. I am shooting this gun in sporting clays competitions and can't afford to have it malfunctioning all the time. I have maybe two cases of shells through this thing.

The problem is not consistant, it jsut happens randomly. Shells were winchester AA 1 1/8 loads and nobel sport 1 1/8 loads
